From Peter Pilotto’s pastel fairytales to Giambo’s garden of eden, this year’s NYFW was a fanciful success.

Kaleidoscopic color palettes and a labyrinth of ruffles- We’ve been hypnotized, tranced, from 3,000 miles.

The week’s end left us raddled: with influence, vision, elevation, spark. An epilogue of awe, a cyclone of ingenuity. We’re trying to muster the words to describe what we’ve learned, which is a challenge after a legion of fashion forward legends completely knocked our laced-trimmed-nylon-socks off!!!!

But we’ll try. Here are a few of our favorite trends.
●●●
1. Retro Romance: Undertones of Elizabethan and Victoriana. Outlines of romantic blouses. Touches of roses and corsetry raised the retro-chic bar and core body temperatures throughout.

2. Edgy Comfort: Drifting through light weight and heavy hearts we found a fluidity of fabrics. Pronounced by the summer dreamers and over heaters. We’re hoping the casual comfort of pajama inspired streetwear catches on- please, for the sake of us late-sleeping alarm-snoozing fashionistas!!

3. Concrete Catwalk: Dancing to the beat of the street, many brands pulled from the jungle of their morning commute. Androgynous. Layers. Wearable. Forward.

The street style during NYFW is a show within itself, and we have to admit, it's our favorite runway. Here are a few favorite outfits, and how we've restyled them with our favorite Hang designs!
